A structured walking program aimed at motivating participant to walk toward good health. The group meets the third Wednesday of every month from at 7:00am - 10:00am for Good Health presentation, free breakfast, blood pressure checks and distribution of incentive prizes. The Walking program is at the American Mall, Lima. Walking hours (7:00am - 9:00pm) weekdays and mall’s operating hours on the weekends.

Through professional instruction, case examples, and use of the Resource Book “Home Care Guide for Cancer”, this LMH course teaches family caregivers problem-solving strategies. The program helps them feel more comfortable dealing with common physical, emotional and support problems related to the disease. The course designed to teach participants how to develop personal caregiving plans for their loved ones living with cancer.

Patients diagnosed with cancer, and/or family members of significant others.
