Most United Way’s pay dues in recognition of the many valuable services that are provided by United Way of America.  These include staff and volunteer training, national advertising through the longtime relationship with the National Football League and discounts on films and campaign supplies. Less than one penny of each dollar is paid to the United Way of America in the form of national dues.
